When you make a payment through Hopscotch, the funds are immediately debited from your Hopscotch Balance, connected bank account, or card and sent to the designated recipient. Once you make a payment, the transaction cannot be canceled.
The fastest way to retrieve your funds is to send an invoice to the recipient through their business profile with a message explaining the situation. Hopscotch Support cannot intervene/return a payment.
Can I cancel a pending payment?
Please contact Hopscotch Support to cancel payments to non-Hopscotch users that are in a pending status (e.g. the recipient has not yet accepted the funds). Once the payment is accepted, Support will not be able to reverse the transaction.
Can I cancel an add/withdrawal transfer?
You cannot cancel transfers, however, you may counteract the transfer by initiating a second, inverse transfer.
