How does Hopscotch Flow work?
Hopscotch Flow is easy to use. Let's jump into how it works.
- Send an invoice. Generate and send an invoice through Hopscotch. Remember—you can get paid by anyone through our platform, even if they don’t have an account.

Go with the Flow. If an invoice is qualified for Flow, you’ll see the Flow icon (
). Once you accept payment terms, funds will be instantly added to your Hopscotch balance.
- Get back to business. Once you Flow an invoice, the money is available to reinvest however you see fit. Use it to meet payroll or cover other critical business expenses.
Does Flow do a credit check on me or my client?
Flow doesn’t require a credit check, so your credit won’t get dinged if you choose to Flow a payment. Avoid the high fees and strict repayment terms that come with traditional business loans.
When I use Flow, how quickly do I get the money?
Flow gives you instant access to capital so you can make payroll, reinvest in your business, or cover other critical expenses. It’s your money. Access it when you need to.
How much does Flow cost?
Flow pricing is dynamic. The more you use Hopscotch, the better the rates.
What happens if my client’s payment isn’t timely?
If your client’s payment is late due to cash flow or other issues, we’ll manage. It's important to note that a late fee may apply, and there are additional terms if we are unable to collect payment from your customer.
Will my client know that I used Flow on an invoice?
Flow is a private financial tool. Your client won’t be notified that you used Flow - to them, it’ll appear as if they are paying you as they normally do.
Does my client need to sign up for Hopscotch if I use Flow?
Nope. Hopscotch Flow works with non-users too. You can send invoices via email. Your client won’t need to create a Hopscotch account for you to active Flow on an invoice (though it’d be awesome if they did!).
