How do I edit my account settings?
When you log in to your Hopscotch account, you can edit your settings by clicking 'Settings' in the Global Menu dropdown (click your profile icon).
In settings, click 'Account'. Here, you can edit your account settings like enabling two-factor authentication.
Why can't I edit some of my account settings?
Account settings like your legal business name cannot be edited once submitted during the Registration & Verification process. This measure helps us protect your business and our community. Please contact Support if your personal or business legal information has changed since the opening of your Hopscotch account.
How do I enable two-factor authentication for my account?
To enable two-factor authentication, navigate to Settings>Account and scroll to the bottom of the page. Then do the following:
- Click the toggle to the right of 'Two-Factor Authentication'
- Input your phone number
- Click the blue Send Code text in the same field you input your phone number
- Hopscotch will send a verification code to the number you input. Please allow for up to 5 minutes for the code to arrive.
- Enter the 4-digit code into the 'Enter Code' field
- Click the blue 'Submit' button to the right of the 'Enter Code' field
That's it! Now you have enabled two-factor authentication for your account. Next time you log in to Hopscotch, you will be required to input a verification code (sent to your phone number) to access your account. This is an important layer of protection for your business.
You can turn off two-factor authentication at any time by clicking the toggle and completing the same authentication process detailed above.
How do I close my Hopscotch account?
For security, Hopscotchers cannot close their account through Settings. To close your Hopscotch account, please contact Support.
